Born in Bogotá in 1992, El Rocha is a Colombian artist who blends R&B, rap, dancehall, afrobeat and champeta. His sound joins the urban sensibility of the Andean interior with Caribbean energy, turning every stage into a vibrant experience.
The Caribbean coast adopted him as “El Cachaco Champetúo” after hits like Akién and La Llave, making him the first artist from the interior to stand out in champeta.

He has performed in Cartagena, Barranquilla, Puerto Colombia, Santa Marta, Sincelejo, Bogotá and Medellín, and is available on request in the rest of Colombia, including the Rosario Islands, Barú, the Coffee Region, Cali and Bucaramanga.
Champeta Rola, afrobeat, dancehall and reggaeton, with R&B and hip hop influences. His recent release is Copa Rota, which fuses popular music with urban sounds; earlier work includes the EP Flow Suramérica Vol. 1 and the songs Palenque, Akién and La Llave.
Sound System (El Rocha and a DJ) suits cocktails, after parties and smaller venues. Champeta Rola adds guitar, percussion, a backing vocalist and two dancers for gala dinners and incentive events. Capital Kandela is a full live band with piano, trumpet, congas and timbales, drums, bass, guitar, two backing vocalists and dancers, for conventions, launches and large galas.
Setup takes about 35 minutes (Sound System), 45 minutes (Champeta Rola) or 1 hour (full band), with at least one hour of soundcheck before the show. The suggested stage is 4 × 3 m (Sound System), 6 × 4 m (Champeta Rola) or 8 × 6 m (full band), with stable 110 V power and a dressing room. Each format’s reference rider is shown on this page and is validated with production.
El Rocha works in the same Colombian urban-Caribbean landscape (champeta, afrobeat, dancehall and reggaeton) that artists such as J Balvin, from Medellín, and Beéle, from Barranquilla, have taken around the world. He is an independent artist and is not affiliated with them.
