In short: Bike Builders is a 2–3 hour team-building activity in Cartagena for groups from 8 people: teams assemble new children’s bikes, race them one by one on an obstacle track and donate them at the end to a local foundation, school or community. Includes bikes, tools, safety gear, track, coach, staff, tents, beach venue, hydration, medals and insurance.
What it is
A game of logic and speed: each team must assemble a safe children’s bike and then, one by one, ride it along an obstacle track. The winner is the team whose members finish the course in the shortest time without falling.
The social component is what people remember: the bikes are brand new and are given to a foundation, school or local community at the end. A representative of the beneficiaries joins the activity and receives them from the team.
How it unfolds
